Therese "Terry" Seehuber Keller died October 21, 2006 at the Gardens Assisted Living Facility in Bentonville, Arkansas. She moved to Bentonville in 1997 from Redmond, Washington to be closer to her family.
She was born December 29, 1923 in Waging am See, Germany. She was drafted into the German Luftwaffe in 1941 and married American soldier Sgt. Allan E. Keller in 1948 in Trieste, Italy. As an army wife, she lived in 3 countries and 10 states.
For 17 years she worked as a jeweler at Bergquist Jewelers in Monterey, California. She enjoyed the German/American Club, attending St. Stephens Catholic Church, the Bentonville Senior Center, and was an avid stamp and coin collector. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, and traveling the world.
She is survived by an only child, T. Irene Phillips and her husband Bob Phillips of Bentonville, two grandsons, Bradley (BJ) Phillips and Bryan Phillips of Bentonville, two sisters in Germany, Elizabet Unterrainer, and Hedwig Zivkovic, and two brothers in Germany, Jakob Seehuber and Sebastian Seehuber, five nieces and two nephews in Germany, and her ex-husband Allan Keeler of Honolulu, Hawaii.
A family/friend visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 25th at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Bentonville.
In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted by St. Mary's Hospice Service, and the Genesis Legacy in Memphis, Tennessee, 44 S. Cleveland, Memphis, TN 38104.
