Alice L Viney

Alice L. Viney, 60, of Siloam Springs, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.

Alice was born on May 1, 1965, in Carthage, Missouri. She was the daughter of David Roper and Carol Louis Todd Roper. She married Jimmy E. Viney on August 18, 1990. Alice had worked as a Nurse’s Aide at the Woodland Manor Nursing Home and was the Assistant Director at the Hunger & Thirst Ministries in Siloam Springs. She enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, crocheting, and collecting Angels and Pigs. Alice always enjoyed helping people when she could.

She is survived by husband, Jimmy Viney of the home; her mother, Carol Louis Todd of Oronogo, Missouri; one son, Ramond Russell of Bolivar, Missouri; two daughters, Angel Carnell of Crawford, Indianna and Chasidy Russell Swinford of Bolivar, Missouri ; two brothers, Keith Sikes and Jere Sikes both of Carthage, Missouri; one sister, Linda Johnson of Carthage, Missouri; a sister in law, Jane Woods and husband Jack of Colcord, Oklahoma; several grandchildren along with many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her biological dad, Robert Burton Sikes.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
