Arletta A Adair

Arletta Adair, 86, of Rogers, Arkansas, previously from Kiowa, Colorado for 47 years, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025.

She was born September 14, 1939, in Petoskey, Michigan the daughter of the late Roy Readmond and Helga (Josephson) Readmond. On August 31, 1963, Arletta married the love of her life, James F.Adair.

Family was very important to her. Her greatest joy was traveling and seeing the world. She was an avid snorkeler with a great love of the ocean and was just as at home in the mountains enjoying nature. She loved all animals, especially the old and the young.

Arletta was a member of the Elbert County Young Homemakers Club. She loved sewing and was known for making custom wedding dresses. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and embroidery. Another great joy was to teach the art of cooking and sewing to her grandchildren.

Arletta is survived by her husband, Jim; her children, Kerri Turner, Jill Adair, and Dusty Adair and wife Myndi. 4 grandchildren, Roscoe Turner and wife Alex, Alicia Powell and husband Jarrett, Riley Turner and wife Madison, and Rhett Turner and wife Zoe; 5great-grandchildren, Owen, Arabella, Royston, Trace, and Raiden.

Arletta was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 brothers, Darrell, Dean, and Bill Readmond.

The family would like to extent their thanks to Circle of Life Hospice who took such good care of Arletta during her final days.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 18th from 11am - 2pm at Milieu Studio NWA, 246 S Maestri Rd Suite 1, Springdale, AR 72762.
