Audrey Faye Kaufman, age 90, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
Faye was born on October 28, 1935, in Hulbert, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late James Knox and Zelda (Pennington) Knox. On January 9, 1956, she married Richard L. Kaufman, and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2003.
In 1956 Faye received her degree in nursing and devoted her life to the health care industry. She served many years as the Director of Nursing at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She retired for a short time and worked at Franklin Electric as the plant nurse. She worked for a short time as a Greeter at Walmart, then returned to Nursing and finally retired in 2012
Faye was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Siloam and was very active in her church, an avid reader, and loved playing Skip-Bo and Phase 10 card games with her children and grandchildren.
Faye is survived by her 2 daughters; Pamela Norton and her Partner Stuart Reeves and Beverly Kaufman; a brother, Calvin Knox and his wife Leslie; a sister, Lualice Durnal and her husband Dwayne; 2 grandsons, Dustin Norton and William Larry Galloway; great grandchildren Tyler Kolysko, Ashdon Kolysko, Chance Kolysko, Bailey Jones, Braidon Galloway, Rynae Norton and Richard Norton. She had one great great grandson, Jaxon Dean Kolysko.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, James Norman Knox.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church located at 7727 Cedar Dr, Colcord, OK 74338.
Per Faye’s wishes, cremation was chosen.
Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, AR with her late husband Richard at a later date.
