Bobbie Evans

Bobbie Evans, 72, of Hindsville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his home.

Bobbie was born April 10, 1949 in Hindsville, Arkansas to Calvin Evans and Lola Gosvener-Evans. He served honorably as a Medic for the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, barbecues, attending family reunions, and being social.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Ipo; one brother, Sonny; and his parents Calvin and Lola Evans.

He is survived by his 3 brothers, Addie Evans of Hindsville, Arkansas, Ike Evans and wife, Cleta of Hindsville, Arkansas, and Cheyenne Evans and wife, Marolyn  of Hindsville, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Connie Whittle and husband, Larry of Springdale, Arkansas and Ann Davis of Hindsville, Arkansas; half-brother, Darryl Mophins of Elkins, Arkansas; half-sister, Lucy Burgess of Springdale, Arkansas; nephew and caretaker, Sammy Evans of the home; nephew, Boudan Clouse; and many other nephews, nieces and loved ones loved ones.

The funeral service will be held 10:00am, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral in Springdale, Arkansas. Cremations arrangements are entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.
