Charles "Bill" William Andrews

Charles William “Bill” Andrews, age 72, of Lowell, AR, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. Bill was born on July 15, 1951, in St Louis, MO, the son of the late Clarence Charles Andrews and Peggy (Doss) Andrews.

On June 19, 1976, Bill married the love of his life, Marla Glasgow and she survives.

Bill worked for many years as a truck driver for Tysons and after he retired, he drove a school bus for 8 years. Bill was a member of the Springdale Christian Church, he played pool on the Rack and Roll Pool League. Bill was an avid John Deere Collector, enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with his family. His grandchildren were the joy of his life along with his beloved dog, Koco.

Bill is survived by his wife Marla; a daughter, Amber Atwood and husband Tim; brothers, David Andrews and wife Tammy, Ron Philp, Dennis Andrews and wife Roxanne, and Bob Philp and wife Vicki; 2 grandchildren, Hunter Phifer and wife Vivian and Tanner Phifer, 2 step granddaughters Megan Bolin and Heather Atwood, and 3 great grandchildren, Abby Bolin, Peyton Bolin, and Easton Bolin.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and a son Derek.

Friends may visit with the family at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 3-7 PM.

Funeral services will be held at the Springdale Christian Church, located at 714 W Huntsville St, Springdale, AR, at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 31, 2023, with Pastor Daniel Dickard officiating. Pall Bearers will be Hunter Phifer, Tanner Phifer, Michael Marsh, Jason Marsh, Eric Philp, Trenton Wheatley, Justin Wheatley, and Anthony Clark. Brad McCarty and Shawn Philp will serve as Honorary Pall Bearers.

Burial will be in the Elm Springs Cemetery, Elm Springs, AR.
