Chong Yang

Chong "Chuck" Yang passed away on May 3, 2026, in Nairobi, Kenya, at the age of 41. He was born on August 18, 1984, in Chiang Kham, Thailand, to Frank Da Yang and Tia Lor. Chuck was a deeply loved husband, father, brother, and son.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Salwa Shariff, and his dear daughter, Asha Yang. He is also survived by his mother, Tia Lor; his sisters, See Yang and Sue Yang; and his brothers, Dao Yang, Chue Yee Yang, Cheetau Yang, Leng Yang, and Larly Yang.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Da Yang.

Chuck's memory will be forever cherished by his immediate family, as well as a large circle of extended relatives and close friends who loved him dearly
