David A Ulanday

David A. Ulanday, age 90, of Springdale, AR, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. David was born on April 8, 1933 in the Territory of Hawaii to Bernabe Madrid Ulanday and Romana (Ancelmo) Ulanday.

In 1959 while working for TWA, David met and married the love of his life, Violet Sorrell and she survives. David proudly served in the United States Army obtaining the rank of Corporal.

When not working in the Air Freight division of TWA, David enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. David was an accomplished artist and enjoyed not only drawing and painting but also applying his artistic ability to wood carving and taxidermy.

David is survived by his wife Violet; 2 daughters, Kim Ulanday and Lynnde Jenke; 2 sisters, Virginia Guisinger and Rosallia Fernandez; 2 grandsons, Shane and David; and 2 great grandchildren, Emmitt and Sophie.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters.

Per David’s wishes, cremation was chosen. A memorial will be held at a later date.
