David Lee Reel SR

David Lee Reel SR., 67, of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.

David was born on October 6, 1950 in Paris, Arkansas. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1968-1971. He loved to go fishing on the river and will be remembered mostly for being a loving family man.

He is survived by his Daughters, Crystal Lynn Deal of Broken Arrow, OK, Angela Dale Shelton of Siloam Springs, AR, Charleen Kay Gilliland of Colcord, OK, and Heather Sue Reel of Choteau, OK; 1 Sister, Dottie Holt of Muskogee, OK; 2 Brothers, Johnny Lindsay of Ryan, LA and Hank Lindsay of Ryan, LA; 29 Grandchildren; & 11 Great-Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dena Kay Reel; Son, Robert Goins Jr; Mother, Christen Lindsay, & Mother Ester Reel.

The Visitation for David will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 5:00PM-7:00Pm at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 12:00PM at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery at 2:00PM following the service. The services are entrusted to the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
