Delores Jean Cofer

Delores Jean Cofer, 86 (or 14 by her calculations), of Siloam Springs, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Maples at Har-Ber Meadows Nursing and Rehab in Springdale.

Delores was born on December 19, 1939, in Trenton, Missouri. She was the daughter of Rhoudy May and Ruby (Chandler) May and the widow of the late James Cofer who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was a member of The Assembly in Siloam Springs. Delores, known as Grandma Dee to her grandkids, was known for her joyful generosity. She often financially supported mission trips, service opportunities, and other ministry-related opportunities for many at her church. She loved her family deeply and was a constant support and loving presence in their lives. She loved to laugh and enjoyed life to its fullest, traveling the world with Travel Masters in her later years.

She is survived by one daughter, Connie and husband Rick Froman of Siloam Springs; one son, Richard Cofer of Elk Grove, California; one brother, Marvin May of Salt Lake City, Utah; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at The Assembly in Gentry on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 10:00am. Pastor Gary Wheat will officiate the service with burial following at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
