Donna M Collins

Donna M. Collins, 88, of Siloam Springs, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at The Maples Nursing and Rehab in Springdale, Arkansas.

Donna was born November 3, 1937, in Pasadena, California, to Donald and Julia Turner Schwab. She married Delmar Collins on September 4, 1955, in Pasadena. He preceded her in death in 2023. They built a life together over 68 years of marriage.

In 1965, Donna and Delmar returned to the Wedington community, where they raised their family. Donna was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband on their dairy and poultry farm until retirement.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs and was active for many years at Wedington Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Bible school. Donna enjoyed reading, singing, painting, and crafts. She loved watching birds and playing music, including the dobro and dulcimer. She also served as Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lincoln, Arkansas.

She is survived by her children, Gene Collins (Lydia) of Siloam Springs, Brodey Collins (Monie) of Siloam Springs, Billy Collins (Davina) of Rogers, Arkansas, John Collins (Carrie) of Siloam Springs, and Shawna Zodrow (Tony) of Mobile, Alabama; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Steve Abbott officiating. Burial will follow at Norwood Cemetery near Wedington.
