Franklin Henry Bolyard

Franklin Henry Bolyard, 90, of Cave Springs, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

He was born March 10, 1935, in Newburg, West Virginia, the son of the late Mitford Aurthur Bolyard and Ethel Susan (Huffman) Bolyard.

Franklin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an active member of Lakeview Baptist Church, American Legion Post 274, the NRA, North American Hunting Club, Ducks Unlimited, Quail Unlimited. Franklin was a true wildlife enthusiast and had a lifelong love of airplanes, always enjoying time spent around aviation.

Franklin is survived by his wife, Estella Ann (Rose) Bolyard; his children, David Duane Bolyard and Nancy Ann Bolyard; his brother, James L. Bolyard; and his sisters, Genevieve Strawser and Velma Cale.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Donald Bolyard; and his sisters, Ellen Cross, Mildred Hirmer, and Bernice Sandy.
