Gerald Wayne Holm

Gerald Wayne Holm, 68, of Gentry, Arkansas passed away at his home on Sunday, March 28, 2021.

Gerald was born on November 30, 1952 in Noel, Missouri.  He married Cheryl Ann Ott on June 10, 1974 in Miami, Oklahoma. Gerald served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, serving on a missile base in Germany. He later became a Journeyman Plumber, working for A+ Plumbing and Carl Holly Plumbing. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, cutting wood, doing yardwork, and tending to his garden. He was a jokester always enjoying a laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Holm of the home; one son, Shannon Holm and wife Christy of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Heather King and husband Jon of Siloam Springs; adopted son, Dalton Ott of Siloam Springs; one brother, David Holm and wife Joyce of Salado, Texas; one sister, Shirley Spencer and husband Steve of Bentonville, Arkansas; four grandchildren; Katie Holm, Lyric King, Skylar King and Sawyer King; special friend, Linsay Lemke and her daughters Devyn and Raelyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Woodrow Holm and Nona Lea Heckman Holm, one sister Sharon Holm, and one son Jason Holm.

Funeral services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 10:00am. Burial will be held at the Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulpher Springs, Arkansas. Gerald, was a kind person, a person with real heart!
Something you cant find these days! He loved his gardening, his fishing, and hunting pheasants when he could. And my moms beans and green chile out in Colorado. Yes Gerald was a good person, he loved his family and mine! Always have kids around him! That was Gerald!We will miss this fine person, Im so sorry to the family and Linz and my girls, I know your heart is breaking. Im so sorry.
