Gloria Jean Stamps

Gloria Jean Stamps, age 77, of Springdale, AR, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, surrounded by her family. Gloria was born on February 14, 1945, in Springdale, Arkansas the daughter of the late Walter Owen Stamps and Fern M (Beasley) Stamps.

Gloria graduated from the Springdale High School class of 1963. She then went to work for Ralston Purina company later known as Cargill Foods, Gloria retired in 2011 after 42 years of service. Gloria enjoyed her monthly lunch with the “Swag Club’, reading, going to the casino, working on puzzles and playing solitaire. Gloria was an honorary mother and grandmother to many and, also a godmother.

Gloria is survived by her loving brothers and sisters, Collen Rose and husband Jim of Fayetteville, Ralph Stamps and wife Jeanette of Springdale, Rick Stamps and wife Marcia of Elm Springs, Jerry Stamps of Springdale, Roberta Stokes of Springdale, Pam Keene and husband Skip of Naples, FL, Cathy Smith and husband John of Huntsville, Ronnie Stamps of Springdale, Cheryl Stamps of Springdale, and Denise Sizemore and husband Steve of Benton KY, 21 nieces and nephews; plus many more great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews .

 Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Walter Allen “Bubby” Stamps and a sister, Patricia Ann Stamps.
