Goldie Mussino, 94, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at The Maples in Springdale, Arkansas on September 14, 2025. She was born on February 20, 1931, in Edwards, Missouri, to Frank and Kathryn (Houseworth) Cline. She was the third of 12 children blessed by this union. She has three surviving siblings, Carol Hammer, Francis Lesamiz, and Charlie Cline, all of Washington State.
On July 1, 1950, she married Joseph Mussino in Clinton, Missouri. Goldie was a devoted homemaker and worked alongside her husband on their farm in Tontitown, Arkansas, where they raised their three children.
She is survived by her children, Elaine Sbanotto and husband Pete of Tontitown, Joseph Mussino, Jr and wife Donna from Green Valley, Arizona, and Irene Roberts and husband Jim of Gentry, Arkansas.
She is also survived by three grandchildren, Andrea Folger and husband Chuck, Deitra Biely and husband Brent, and Stephen Sbanotto and partner Alex. Three great grandchildren, Lauren Burr and husband Graham, Noah Folger and wife Bailey and Summer Biely. One great great granddaughter, Addley Burr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, and grandson Michael Sbanotto.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Maples, and Circle of Life Hospice, who have been amazing walking with us through this journey.
A visitation and gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Tontitown. Rosary services will follow beginning at 7:00pm
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 10:00am at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church. Father Jason Tyler will officiate with burial following at the Saint Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Tontitown.
