James L. Milner, of Siloam Springs, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at his home.
James was born on March 31, 1939, in Des Moines, Iowa. He was the son of Albert Milner and Edna Jewett Milner, He Married Cynthia Ralston Clark on June 7, 1997, in Siloam Springs. James worked for Foremost Dairy for 15 years, for Lakeshore Foods of Tulsa and for Cobb Vantress for 15 years before his retirement. He enjoyed photography, always taking pictures of old trucks and barns on their many outings. He also liked fishing, shooting, and traveling. He was a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church and served his country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Cindy of the home; three sons, Gary Milner of Siloam Springs, Kevin Milner of Springfield, MO, and Brian Milner of Avoca, AR; one step son, Chris Clark of Siloam Springs; one step daughter, Kim Clark of Pocahontas, AR; two brothers, Al Milner of West Siloam Springs, OK, and Terry Milner of Sand Springs, OK; one sister, Sharon Ridenour of Savanah, GA; five grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Scotty Milner; a stepdaughter, Renee’ Clark; one brother, David Milner and one grandchild, Lisa Milner.
A graveside funeral will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 2:00pm at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs. Pastor Randy Majer will officiate the service. Arrangements are entrusted to the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
