Jennifer "Jenni" Lynne Peterson

Jennifer “Jenni” Lynne Peterson, 36, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018.

Jenni was born on February 21, 1981 in Eugene, Oregon to Michael and Joy Peterson. She attended Siloam Springs High School and John Brown University. She was a Preschool Teacher at the Friendship Pediatric Services in Siloam Springs where she loved teaching and caring for her class. She made such an impact on them that she would get recognized out in public by her little students, which always made her smile. She could also cross-stitch beautifully and would give out her crafts to family and friends. She loved to cook and try new recipes. She also enjoyed watching sports like cycling, the Olympics, and baseball. Jenni enjoyed sci-fi movies and tv shows. She accepted Christ as her Savior as a child, and is with Him now.

She is survived by her parents, Michael and Joy Peterson of Siloam Springs, AR and her two brothers, David Peterson of Tulsa, OK and Jonathan Peterson of Siloam Springs, AR; her grandfather, Bob Peterson of Eugene, OR; numerous aunts and uncles; many cousins; and other loved ones and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Siloam Springs Bible Church on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2 pm by Pastor Bruce Boehmer. The cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR. To sign the online guestbook, please visit www.backstrom-pyeatte.com

Jenni, I loved exchanging cards, sharing Tour de France fandom, and Words with Friends. The needlepoints you sent I will treasure forever. Thank you for making my years at JBU so fun, taking me in over spring break my freshman year, trips to Taco Bell and Starbucks, watching Ultimate home games, Monday Eve dinners. Rest in peace.
