Juan Gil Martinez, 44, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
Juan was born on October 12, 1979, in Aguascalientes, Mexico. He was the son of Exquio Martinez and Ana Ramirez Martinez. He married Fabiola Lopez on April 24, 2009, in California. Juan was the owner and operator of La Michoacana Mexican Grocery Store in Siloam Springs. Juan enjoyed living life with no regrets. He enjoyed making new friends and always bringing his sense of humor. He loved making memories, traveling, and spending time with his kompitas. He enjoyed target shooting, camping, making carne asadas, listening to music as loud as the speakers aloud him, and took pride and joy of his cars.
He is survived by his wife, Fabiola Martinez; his mother, Ana Martinez; three sisters, Ana Martinez, Diana Martinez, and Brenda Fuentes; along with many other family members and friends.
Mass will be held at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 9:30 am with Father Salvador Marquez-Munos presiding.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Graveside Service will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 10:00 AM.

Juan Gil Martínez, de 44 años, de Siloam Springs, Arkansas, falleció el miércoles 8 de noviembre de 2023 en Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
Juan nació el 12 de octubre de 1979 en Aguascalientes, México. Era hijo de Exquio Martínez y Ana Ramírez Martínez. Se casó con Fabiola López el 24 de abril del 2009 en California. Juan era el dueno de la tienda La Michoacana en Siloam Springs. A Juan le gustaba vivir la vida sin remordimientos. Le gustaba hacer nuevos amigos y siempre aportar su sentido del humor. Le encantaba crear recuerdos, viajar y pasar tiempo con sus kompitas. Le gustaba el tiro al blanco, acampar, hacer carne asadas, escuchar música tan alta como la vocina lo permitiera, y se enorgullecía y disfrutaba de sus autos. Le sobreviven su esposa, Fabiola Martínez; su madre, Ana Martínez; tres hermanas, Ana Martínez, Diana Martínez y Brenda Fuentes; junto con muchos otros miembros de la familia y amigos.
La misa se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica de Santa María el sábado 11 de noviembre de 2023 a las 9:30 am presidida por el Padre Salvador Márquez-Cunos.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el lunes 13 de noviembre de 2023, de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en la funeraria Backstrom-Pyeatte en Siloam Springs.
El servicio junto a la tumba se llevará a cabo en el cementerio de Oak Hill el martes 14 de noviembre de 2023 a las 10:00 a.m.
Los arreglos se confiaron a la funeraria Backstrom-Pyeatte de Siloam Springs, AR.
