Juanita Annabelle Hopper, 97, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the Circle of Life Hospice Home in Bentonville.

 

Juanita was born December 5, 1924 in Hominy, Oklahoma to Benjamin Moore and Minnie Walters-Moore. In her youth years, she stayed busy by taking care of her siblings and helping around their home. When she married, James Hopper JR, she went on to make a family of her own. Out of the home life, she spent many years as a Pharmacy Technician for many local businesses around Northwest Arkansas. In her elder years, she enjoyed doing yard work, taking care of her roses, making dolls, and completing puzzles; but most of all, she cherished raising her kids.

 

She is survived by 2 sons, Jeffrey Hopper and wife, Theresa of Vinita, Oklahoma and James Hopper III and wife, Gloria of Apple Valley, California; 2 daughters, Carol Keesling of Gentry, Arkansas and Linda Hopper of Decatur, Arkansas; 1 sister, June McCann of Gentry, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and many other loved ones.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Davy Hopper, and granddaughter, Stephanie Hopper.

 

Per Juanita’s wishes, cremation rites were chosen.
