Kenneth W Sloan

Kenneth W. Sloan, age 78, of Wesley, AR, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, AR.

Kenneth was born on August 14, 1943, in Austin, TX, the son of the late Leonard Sloan and Martha (Mobely) Sloan. Kenneth proudly served in the United States Army. In 1979 he married Flarnice Belle Melson and she survives.

Kenneth owned and operated Sloan’s Painting INC for many years. Kenneth loved fishing, hunting, camping, and country music.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Flarnice; his daughters; Tammy Sloan and husband Mike, Cammy Barbacovi, and Michelle Shelley and husband Dexter; brothers, Leslie, Sherman, and Roland; and a sister, Ruby; 6 grandchildren, Bryan, Krystal, Brenda, Gary Wayne, Kandis, and Dani; 4 great grandchildren, Destiny, Desirae, Brooklynn and Kaykeann; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Loretta.

The family is honoring Kenneth’s wishes to be cremated.
