Lance Rob Johnson

Lance Rob Johnson, 71, of Tontitown, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 18, 2025. He was born February 4, 1954, in Colorado Springs, Colorado and was raised in a loving home by his parents, Ralph Earl Johnson and Jackie Frances (Jones) Johnson.

Lance graduated from Springdale High School in 1972, where he also competed in boxing, winning a state championship. After graduation he worked as a carpenter until he began his lifelong career of straightening semi-truck frames.

He worked at Tontitown Frame & Axle, his family business, for 36 years and was a master of his art.

Lance enjoyed fishing, shooting, bird hunting, and in his later years, he loved to cook. Lance enjoyed a simple life near his sons, grandsons, and brother doing what he loved the most- being around the shop.

Lance is survived by his sons, Lance R Johnson JR and wife Crystal and Jeremiah Johnson and wife Joanie; a brother Mike Johnson and wife Linda; grandchildren, Averi Mabry and husband Bradon, Dalton Johnson, Kurt Johnson, Logan Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Andi Johnson, Gwyn Johnson and Annelise Johnson; and a great grandchild, Alex.

Lance was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Steve Boren and a sister Sherrie Johnson.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the Silent Grove Cemetery in Springdale, AR, from 10:00 to 10:30am. A graveside service will be held at 10:30am at the Silent Grove Cemetery.
