Larry W Laramore

Larry W. Laramore, 78, of Tontitown, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the Freeman Hospital in Springdale.

Larry was born on October 25, 1947, in Elk City, Oklahoma. He was the son of John F Laramore and Edith Mae Dodson Laramore. He married Debra Charlene Lehman on September 9, 1971, in Pea Ridge, Arkansas, celebrating 55 years of marriage. Larry owned and operated the Advance Collision Center in Bentonville for many years. He enjoyed working on cars, participating in tractor pulls and auto racing, and as well as miniature show horses. He was enthralled with guns, collecting, shooting research and reloading. And was also instrumental in the development of an ammunition round. He was of the Baptist Faith. Larry served with Honor in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Laramore of the home; two daughters, Shanna Smith and husband Keith of Georgia, and Christy Holm and husband Shannon of Siloam Springs; one brother, Kenny Laramore and wife Ramona of Cave Springs; two grandchildren, Carolyn Mae Merwanji and Jackson Latimer; along with many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Fletcher Daryl Laramore.

Funeral services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 11:30am. Burial will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery following the service at 1:30pm.
