Leanna Ruth Easley

Leanna Ruth Easley, 73, of Gentry, AR passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

Leanna was born on July 27, 1944 in Siloam Springs, a daughter of Willie Lacy and Ruth Ellen Sherrill Lacy. She was the widow of the late Byrl Gene Easley who preceded her in death. Leanna worked for 30 plus years at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital as an ICU Monitor Tech and Unit Secretary. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Siloam Springs. Leanna enjoyed traveling especially to beaches and Branson to enjoy her love of music, she liked antiques and flea markets, racing of any kind especially NASCAR and excelled at cooking and baking.

Survivors include her son Willie “Bill” Easley of Gentry; her daughter Shawna and husband Brian Shook of Gentry; one sister, Frances Brown of Siloam Springs; three grandchildren, Cassandra and husband Leonard King , Cody Easley and Brian “B.J.” Shook Jr ; two great grandchildren Ronald Gene King and Willie Ray King; along with several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm

Funeral service will be held at the First Christian Church of Siloam Springs on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 2:00pm..  Pastor Joel Rutherford will officiate the service, with burial being conducted at the Oak Hill Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home.
