Loretta Shoemaker

Loretta Jean Shoemaker, 76, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away peacefully Saturday night, March 1, 2025 at the Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

Loretta was born November 17, 1948 in Port Jervis, New York to Leroy Boyd and Eve May Conklin-Boyd. She had the most caring heart and from this trait, she was a homemaker for her family. She was a highly skilled seamstress who adored fashion, painting her nails, and dressing up. She was a classy woman. She held her head high in everything she endured and was a true southern lady. In her spare time, you could find her cozied up to a good book or reading her Bible. When the weather was nice, you could find her outside tending to her flower garden. She loved cooking homemade meals and baking for her family. Loretta was full of life and enjoyed dancing- especially when Elvis Presley’s music would come on.

She is survived by her beloved children, Donna Shoemaker and husband, Gregory Drysdale JR, Lori Moore, and Paul Moore JR; 8 cherished grandchildren, Courtney Hughes, Richard "Ricky" Hughes, Chancellor Drysdale, SheAnna Drysdale, Madison Novak, Wolfa Moore, Terrance James Moore, and Paul Moore II; and 3 great-grandsons, Zaiden Odom, Kayson Pentz, and Elena Novak.

The visitation for Loretta will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

The graveside service will be held 10:00AM on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Pastor Gary Riley will officiate the service.
