Mary L Burnett Claypool

Mary L. Hileman Burnett Claypool, age 99, of Springdale, AR, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

Mary was born August 12, 1924, in Pea Ridge, AR the daughter of the late Wilbur Jacob Hileman and Stella Irene (Bever) Hileman.

In 1943 Mary married Glenn Burnett who preceded her in death in February 1978. She is survived by their children; Jerry Burnett and wife Bonnie, Carol Woolly and husband Jim, Linda Wilkerson Garrelts and husband Greg; 7 grandchildren, Mary Kay Woolly Young, Kimberly Woolly, Diane Burnett, Karen Burnett Ufford, Steven Burnett, Brett Wilkerson, and Kristi Wilkerson Miller; and 10 great grandchildren.

In 1993 Mary remarried to Thurman Claypool and he preceded her in death in May 2013. She is survived by his children, Sharon Balloun and Sue Senyard.

Mary attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a part of her Bible Study, Silent Grove Homemakers, sewing, gardening, and being surrounded by and traveling with her family. She was noted among her family for her biscuits and molasses and her fabulous pies.
