These boys are strong, important, brave men in the world. They are successful, dynamic, proud, and family-oriented. Each man has their own direction. Part of life is the eventual face of mortality. As they are working through the sudden loss of their father, they have to have time to grieve the relationship, identify the heritage of what is and what is no longer, and allow the reflection of what might have been. Regardless of what expectations society places on the process, space, time, individual grieving is essential. There are no missed phone calls, no skipped birthdays or family events, there is only the profoundly deep understanding that what their dad had in his heart was spoken, without words or interactions. These boys are the light of our lives. No need for approval, forgiveness, or acknowledgment. Only that of kindness, remembrance, and love. I love you, Brandon Morris and Andrew. Your dad is with you! Remember that calm, simple approach he had.

You left your legacy with the boys! Certainly shining stars in our lives. We will all make sure they continue to thrive and live well every day! They will remember you and what you gave in your heart and the simplicity of life. The changes in the world, the growth with age, and the unspoken words are more clearly heard than you will ever know. They heard you and will hear you every day! With peace and understanding always.

Mike you were like a brother to me. You, Don and myself built a few places together. You will be missed but always in my mind and thoughts.
