Peggy Ann Ross

Peggy Ann Ross, age 89, of Springdale, AR, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Peggy was born September 14, 1935, in Tipton, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Nathen Edger Vernon and Pauline (Powers) Vernon.

Peggy married Frank Lee Ross, and he preceded her in death on February 2, 2021. She lovingly provided a safe home environment for her husband and children, and she loved cooking, flowers and sewing.

Peggy is survived by her children Dennis Ross, Donald Dewayne Ross, Patricia Stephens and Frances McCutcheon; a sister Mary Beth Martin; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother Ronnie Vernon.

Friends may visit with the family at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home on Friday, May 30 from 10AM until 11am. Funeral Services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
