Phillip Kent Lockaby, 87, of Siloam Springs, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, at his home.
Phillip was born on February 12, 1937, in San Bernadino, California. He was the son of Charlie Lockaby and Pauline Short Lockaby.
He married Rosina Bernell Fischer on August 4, 1957, recently celebrating 67 years of marriage.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church.
Phillip was a welder-fabricator by trade. He worked for McKee Foods from 1971 to 1990 at the Collegedale, TN and Gentry, AR plants.
After his retirement Phillip and Rosina built and remodeled houses. He enjoyed reading, the desert, and traveling, having spent six years living in their RV trailer while working and traveling throughout the United States.
He is survived by his wife, Rosina Lockaby of the home; one son Dave Lockaby and wife Julie Lockaby of Siloam Springs, AR; one brother Kenneth Lockaby of West Valley City, UT; two grandchldren Brianna Miley of Siloam Springs, AR and Connor Lockaby of Fayetteville, AR; and three great grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by two sons, Douglas Lockaby and Ronald Lockaby.
Cremation arrangements were trusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
