Reba Faye Smythe

Reba Faye Smythe, 94, of Siloam Springs, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Siloam Springs Nursing & Rehab.

Reba was born in Wedington, AR,  on August 18, 1924 , a daughter of Ralph Davis and Josephine Carter Davis. She was the widow of the late C.L. Smythe, who preceded her in death. Reba worked many years as a dental assistant for Dr. John Stockton and then for Dr. John Allison. She was a member of the Community Christian Fellowship. She loved to garden, to read and taking walks.

She is survived by her son, Charles Smythe and wife Ann of Siloam Springs; two granddaughters, Chelsea Smythe and Morgan Olenick; two great grandchildren, Brayden Giffin and Natalie Smythe.

Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Funeral service will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10:00 am.  Pastor Pat Callahan will officiate the service, with burial being conducted at the Weddington Cemetery.   Arrangements are under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home. To sign online guestbook please go to www.backstrom-pyeatte.com.
