Rebecca Ann Baker, 52, of Gravette, Arkansas passed peacefully Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the Circle of Life Hospice Home in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Rebecca was born January 1, 1972 in Vernon, Texas to Dan and Shirley Raye Holt. With her strong will to live and the love and prayers of family and friends, and many supporters carried her to battle cervical cancer since 2023. Rebecca couldn’t have been prouder than to be a stay-at-home mom, she loved her family.
She was self employed before becoming a stay at home mom for many years, and eventually going on to work for Gates Corporation.
She loved life, and she loved people. While she never missed an opportunity to go shopping, mostly for others, or a trip to the casino, nothing made her happier than spending time with her kids, grandkids, and family. She was a wonderful mom, and an even greater nana. She will forever be missed, and always remembered for having the kindest, most giving, and compassionate heart.
She is survived by her children, Samantha Parsons (TJ Parsons)-Guthrie, Oklahoma, Travis Henson - Gravette, Arkansas, Heather Huchton – Texas, Lane Baker (Stephanie) - Fletcher, Oklahoma, Madison Wyatt - Joshua, Texas; siblings, Tony Holt (wife Emily Agee)- West Fork, Arkansas and Michael Holt - Provo, Utah; grandchildren, Rylee Simmons, Emily and Easton Parsons, Hunter and Reece Bishop, Christian and Adelynn Baker, Grayson Lane; and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her fiancé, Bob Deso, parents, Dan and Shirley Raye Holt, sister, Dana Holt, grandparents, O.T. and Juanita Baker
Per Rebecca’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The arrangements were entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. To sign the online guestbook, please visit www.backstrom-pyeatte.com.
