Ricky Joe Gibson

Ricky Joe Gibson, 61, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the Circle of Life at Legacy Village in Bentonville.

Ricky was born on December 17, 1961, in San Diego, California. He was the son of Kenneth Gibson and Constance Knight Gibson. Ricky was hard working, a mason by trade until going to work at the City of Siloam Springs Street Department/Infrastructure, where he loved his job and the people he worked with.  He enjoyed music with a passion and liked sharing it with his family members; was a Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed summertime, gardening, mowing, and living and chilling out on the Illinois River. He was a simple man with a great sense of humor, who loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two sons, Rory Daniels of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Tanner Gibson of Siloam Springs; a daughter, Amanda Gibson Inman of Frankfort, Kentucky; a stepdaughter, Destiny Greiog of Westville, Oklahoma; one brother, Jimmy Gibson of Westville, Oklahoma; three sisters, Donna McReynolds of Siloam Springs, Diana Gibson of Checotah, Oklahoma, and Tammy Turner of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma; along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; long time friend, Toby Roberts; and other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
