Samantha Marlena Holt

Samantha Marlena Holt, 39, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas.

Samantha was born on February 18, 1978 in Bowie, Texas.  She loved babies and working in the daycare profession. 

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mary Gigsby and Joe Hopson, Jr. and her maternal grandparents, Anna Mae Baker and Harvey Tipton.

Samantha is survived by her husband, James Holt of the home; her mother, Judy Polk; her father, Brad Hopson; four siblings, Shannon Bowles of Vernon, Texas, Jackie Hopson of Palmdale, California, Amber Bingham and husband Kevin of Bowie, Texas and Jamie Kincannon; her mother and father in-law, John and Vicki Holt of Clarksville, Arkansas; brother in-law, Brandon Holt and wife Whitney of Springdale, Arkansas; and several step-brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral will be held at the funeral home 10:00am on Thursday, June 1, 2017.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home.
