A candle was lit in memory of Scotty Blankenship

Scotty was one of a kind. Always smiling. Always kind. He was always positive, at least that’s what he showed on the outside. I enjoyed working with Scotty. I loved our talks about guns and Jesus :). I lost contact with him and everyone the past 5 years. I was saddened when I heard he was sick. And even more so when I heard the news today that he went home to be with Jesus.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends. I feel blessed to have had the chance to work with him a short time. God bless you all.

Scotty was my friend and I will miss him. He was an articulate and thoughtful role model who “walked” in faith and virtue. His positive attitude was infectious. His wit was brilliant. I enjoyed the time we shared while at the same time learning valuable lessons by simply paying attention to how he handled himself in situations of all kinds.

Tetelestai. It is finished here, brother. Well done. Welcome home.
