Scotty Lynn Blankenship, 50, of Siloam Springs, AR, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on April 5th, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, AR, after a short battle with cancer.
Scotty was born in Seoul, South Korea, on November 11, 1971, to Bobby and Unhui Blankenship. He lived the majority of his young life in Valliant, OK. After completing college at NSU, Tahlequah, he moved to Siloam Springs to work for Allen Canning. Scotty later earned his MBA from the University of Arkansas. He was currently employed by Simmons Foods.
Scotty married Gina Browning, the love of his life, on June 25th, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they raised 3 kids, and owned Arkansas Outdoor Supply, a local gun shop, for many years. In addition to the gun shop, Scotty loved to hunt and was a car enthusiast. He had a special love for Ford Mustangs.
Scotty devoted his life to the Lord and was a member of Hope Fellowship FreeWill Baptist Church, where he served as treasurer.
He is survived by his wife, Gina, of the home; Father, Bobby of Siloam Springs, AR; son, Clyne Blankenship (Kallie Huffmaster) of Siloam Springs, stepson, Tracer Roberts (Megan McManus) of Garvin, OK, and daughter, Audrey Blankenship of the home; One brother, Dennis Blankenship and wife, Povi of Bixby, OK, and numerous Nieces and nephews.
Scotty was preceded in death by 3 infant brothers and his mother, Unhui Blankenship.
The Family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday, April 7th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. The funeral will be Friday, April 8th at 2:00, at Hope Fellowship FreeWill Baptist church, in Siloam Springs. Pastor Jerry Sadler and Brother Kevin Smith will officiate the service.
