Stephen Ray Hillhouse

Stephen Ray Hillhouse, 56, a lifelong resident of Siloam Springs, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, on February 19, 2026.

Steve was born on February 12, 1970, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the son of George Wayne Hillhouse and Betty Ruth Coburn Hillhouse. He worked for American Electric Power at the SWEPCO power plant and had previously served as a Detective with the Siloam Springs Police Department. Steve enjoyed building and racing cars and had a passion for bull riding. He was a Master Mason, a member of Key Lodge #7 in Siloam Springs, and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and by one sister, Brenda Winkler.

He is survived by his daughter, Rachael Stovall and husband Joey of Siloam Springs; one brother, Gerald Hillhouse of Gentry; one sister, Patricia Hillhouse of Gentry; along with many other family members and friends.

A Gathering of Friends will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
