Terrie-Lynn Judd, age 77, a new resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Thursday morning, November 14, 2024. Terrie-Lynn was born July 25, 1947, in Neptune, New Jersey. She spent her formative years growing up in Red Bank, New Jersey where she attended St. James Catholic School and graduated from Red Bank High school c/o 1965, where she was a member of the Clerical Club and Business Leaders Club.
After relocating to California, Terrie-Lynn found a love for camping, horseback riding, hiking, and exploring nature from the back of a motorcycle. You could find her sitting by a campfire with her friends, strumming a guitar, and singing along to ‘singer and songwriter’ hits of the 70’s.
She settled down in California, where she established a career working in various departments within San Bernardino County. She began her career as a clerk, and worked her way through the ranks, until she retired at the end of her career as a supervisor in 2011.
She always took immense pride in her home and in her yard; whether she was improving her cactus garden, enjoying her fishpond, sitting on the front porch swing, and listening to her wind chimes. At Christmas she would have a spectacular display of lights celebrating the holidays. Terrie loved holidays, whether she was watching fireworks on July 4th or preparing a feast for her family on Thanksgiving, they were a time for celebration and family, things she cherished more than anything else.
Terrie had numerous hobbies throughout the years, she belonged to a bowling league, spent hours singing along to karaoke, maintained her school-girl crush on Paul McCartney and was an avid collector of Beatles memorabilia. She would travel to Laughlin, visit casinos, and enjoy Beatles music performed by the Fab Four. She also indulged in off-roading in her Isuzu Trooper and visited Lake Perris on hot summer days. She would curl up with a Dean Koontz or Stephen King novel, and loved a good horror movie or crime show. She passed her love for thrillers onto her children and her grandchildren. She also had a great love for her dogs. Foster, Nala, Kit Kat, and Bolt Judd were each adored and loved by Terrie.
She is survived by her daughter, Caryol-Lynn Rullo and husband, Gino; son, Dennis Judd and wife, Anne; daughter, Jodi Judd; her nine grandchildren; Shannon Worley, Sean Hallahan, Samuel Hallahan, Breanna Judd, Brandon Judd, Brooklynn Judd, Sofia Judd, Isabel Judd, Diego Judd; four great-grandchildren, Violet Worley, Liam Hallahan, Hannah Hallahan, Mateo Solis; her beloved dog, Bolt Judd; sister, Patti Brister; two brothers Robert Weber, and Frank “Dusty” Bublin; and many nieces and nephews.
Per Terrie-Lynn's wishes, a cremation will take place. The family will announce the details for a celebration of life to take place in San Bernardino, California once they have been made. Organ donations were also given at her request, as she wanted to share in the gift of life.
The arrangements were entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. To sign the online guestbook, please visit www.backstrom-pyeatte.com
