Twila Anderson

Twila June Anderson, 76, of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

Twila was born April 24, 1949 in Lamar, Colorado. Twila spent many years serving as a ward clerk and certified nursing assistant, where her compassionate heart and steady hands touched the lives of many. Her commitment to helping others was more than a job- it was a reflection of who she was.

In her younger years, Twila found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was a skilled crocheter, a master of home-canned goods, and a comforting presence in the kitchen, where she poured love into every meal. Some of her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren, sharing laughs, stories, and snacks.

Later in life, she found her favorite companions in Judge Judy, soap operas, and a long list of movies she never got tired of watching on repeat. If you stopped by her house, chances are the TV was going.

She is survived by her daughter, Anisha Ames and husband Bub along with their children Destiny and her significant other Bobby, and Chance Ames; great grandchild, Bobby Norton; her son, David Matthews and wife, Kelly and their children Mike, Keenan, and Julie along with her children, Russell and Rylan; Teresa Luther, Jake Difiore, Jemma and Cora Torrie Difiore, daughter Sabrina, Brenda, Bailey and husband Greg and their kids Alyssa and her daughter Lily, Faith, and Emma, Jennifer and her spouse, Robyn daughter Ava and Savanna and sons Jayden, Amanda, Kaylee and her spouse Cody and their kids, Brayden and April; and many other loved ones.

Per Twila's final wishes, cremation was chosen.
