Virginia "Jenny" L Hilderbrand

Virginia “Jenny” Leah Hilderbrand of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Washington Reginal Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Jenny was born on November 17, 1951, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She was the daughter of John Rusk Jr. and Louise M Ford Rusk. Jenny attended NSU and later went to nursing school earning her LPN. She worked in the Siloam Springs area in the health care profession for many years including working at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, the Siloam Springs Medical Center, Quail Ridge Living Center and at the Washington County Health Department. Always like staying busy she held various other part time jobs including Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home as a receptionist and at the First Baptist Church in Child Care and Tender Care Preschool. She was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Siloam Springs but also attended services at First Baptist Church and at the Exciting Southeast Baptist Church in Pryor, Oklahoma. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, shopping, doing Word Search puzzles, watching sports and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Noah Lee and wife Sarah of Pekin, Illinois, and Nate Lee of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Johnna Hilderbrand of Siloam Springs; one brother, John Michael Rusk and wife Lou Anne of Kansas, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.

A Visitation will be held Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Siloam Springs. Burial will be conducted at the Johnson Cemetery in West Siloam Springs.

The arrangements were entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
