Dallas Wade Mullen

July 11, 1951 ~ January 30, 2021 (age 69)

Dallas Wade Mullen, 69 of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, a loving husband, and father entered Heaven’s Kingdom on January 30, 2021. He was born July 11, 1951 in Flagler, Colorado to Leon & Eunice Mullen.

Dallas was a 1969 Gravette High School Graduate, where he loved to play basketball. He loved sports! Some of his fondest memories were watching the Arkansas Razorbacks Basketball team take home the 1994 NCAA Championship trophy, 2008 brought him joy when his Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series and the enormous smile on his face when his Philadelphia Eagles won the Superbowl in 2018 will never be forgotten- (Fly Eagles Fly)

Dallas spent countless Saturdays gathered with family and friends cheering on the Razorbacks. He taught his daughters and grandkids how to call the HOGS in style. One of the last things he said was WOO-PIG-SOOIE!

The sport Dallas loved the most to play himself was Baseball. He could be seen delivering a fast ball from the pitching mound to catching pop fly’s out in left field all the way to tag outs behind the plate. He could do it all.

Dallas had a passion for Bass fishing. Spending time on his boat at the lake was a Good Day! He was a bass fisherman- a catch & release kind of guy. He enjoyed listening to country music, strumming on his guitar and old gospel hymns.

Dallas never minded a hard day’s work. He was known for leading by example. His strong ethic was apparent in every aspect of his life. He was a compassionate and humble man. Dallas had a generous heart and a giving spirit, and he LOVED BIG! He adored his wife, Susie and their marriage of 51 years is a true testament to that. They were members of the Gravette Church of Christ for 35 years.

Dallas gave his life to Jesus Christ in baptism in 1982. His walk with the Lord has truly been a beautiful story. He could often be found reading his Bible. He would share God’s word with his wife and family. Dallas was a good and faithful servant of the Lord. He held steadfast in his faith and believed wholeheartedly in extending forgiveness at every opportunity. He touched many people’s lives and will be greatly missed.
