Richard Lee Turner, 58, of Lingle, Wyoming (formerly of Springdale, Arkansas) was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 25, 2020.
Richard was born on December 18, 1961 in Denver, Colorado. He was the son of Royce Earl Turner and Bertha Lee Autry Bruce. He married Deborah Jeanette Davidson on November 28, 1987. Richard served his country with honor in the United States Air Force for 23 years, retiring at the rank of Tech Sergeant. He was a rancher and a jack of all trades. He loved animals especially his goats, liked sports and scrap metaling and had a deep love for his family. He was of the Christian Faith and had a strong personal relationship with God.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Turner of the home; one son, Gary Zulpo Jr and wife Shanna of Pea Ridge; one daughter, Amber Huffman of Pea Ridge; his mother and step father, Bertha and Norman Bruce of Springdale; his sister, Debbi Cohagan of Springdale; sister in law, Kerri Turner of Springdale; seven grandchildren, Ashlyn and Raelyn Shults, Brayden, Joshua and Gavin Zulpo, Delyla and Daniel Deleon; two nieces, Casey Cohagan and Alicia Turner; four nephews, Tanner Cohagan, Roscoe Turner, Riley Turner and Rhett Turner; one great nephew, Owen Turner; and his constant companion, his dog, Zipp Turner; along with other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Royce Turner and his brother, Ross Turner.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale. Family and friends are limited to 150 people. Guest will be required to wear their own masks.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 2:00pm at Cross Church Springdale (Chapel).
