This type of service is when the deceased is buried shortly after death without a public service. There is no viewing or visitation so embalming is not required. The entire service is held at the cemetery of choice and family may or may not be present. No formal ceremony is held at the time of burial but a memorial service may be held later. Additional charges associated with a graveside service may be charged if a clergy is asked to speak and more than the immediate family is invited to attend the burial.
